megaloblastic anemia is due to folate and vitamin b12 deficiency
but in what way folate and vit b12 causes decrease in hemoglobin or how does it cause anemia ?

both B12 and folate are needed for DNA synth. so dec DNA synth in their absence---> ineffective erythropoisis
