I took step 1 on 10/21. I must say it was a tough exam...... Here are some pitfalls: Concentrate on the text as much as u can....from kaplan notes or other text books....dont worry too much even if u were not able to cover all questions in qbank or some other source before the exam...My experience says hardly 5 % questions are repeated....and believe me some of them were from the usmle cd that u get after applying for the exam. so make sure u have a look at all 150 questions on the cd before u go for ur exam. Kaplan qbank is too specific I guess. Few questions that I can remember: Grades of murmurs CT images of neuroanat Woman obese has endometrial ca as compared to same aged lady without obesity. Why? Lots of molecular biology and immunology I got most of the questions with more than 5 choices U have to assess the time u spend on each question as i had a tough time on one of the blocks. I am really scared to get my result...I dont know what will happen... anyways I thought I should share my experience with u all. sardarni
