Hi! I am in the process of applying for a residency and the Q of visa has come up. This seems to be a crucial decision. Is it possible to change a J1 visa to a H1b visa halfway through the reisdency? Any loopholes? Any suggestions?

impossible without getting J1-waiver first

  #3

Impossible without completing residency.

is that even possible? or is that a silly question?

if u had an H1 visa and then a bolt of lightning struck ur head and u changed ur mind and wanted to pursue fellowship training, can u convert to a J1 visa to facilitate easier entry into a fellowship program?
