I am not an IMG, but I must say thank you to all of you guys for being so open and candid in this forum. You guys work really hard and hats off to you for the posts and laying out a game plan for acheiving success on Step 2. Here was my game plan. I did this in 1 month of DEDICATED studying.
1) Have schedule wake and sleep at the same time..preferably at the time you would the day prior to the exam..your body has to be in the correct rhythm
2) ORDER USMLE WORLD!!!!! I heard of this website through you guys and it was sent from the heavens. The questions are TOUGH they can make you feel not that bright, but that is O.K> use it as a learning experience. I was in the 50's in the beginning by the end high 70's even touched 80 plus a few time.
3) My primary text books were Prescription for the Boards and Crush the Boards. I had the kaplan notes, but as far as I was concerned the books were tooooo long to read in a month.. I would use presecription to form a basis as it does a better job at pathophysiology then Crush, but Crush has the advantage of telling you what to do next. Used currents in Meds and Peds as refernce text when something was not explained well in either of the aformetioned books.
4) Used Kaplan q-bank. It was good. questions easier then USMLE world, but the more questions you do the better.

Hello all I did not do NBME exams so I can not comment on their validity. I felt good after leving the exam but by no means did I feel 100% confident after leaving the exam...I believe the feelings you are having son64 are natural...do not despair your UW scores sound fantsatic. I am sure you excelled. Too everyone else still studying for step 2 countinue to hang in there for the long haul and always remember to "AIMHIGH"
