first of all thank you very much for this forum,
i applied for the USMLE CK exam in the eligibilty period of january-march 2005
i checked oasis web site and found out that my application was rejected.
i called the USLME office and they told me that there is something wrong with my medical diploma ... maybe the medical diploma name .
i graduated from basra-iraq and i know that my medical diploma name is MB,chB
can anyone tell me plz what is the EXACT name of my medical diploma??
i'm afraid that i might not be able to send the application material during the rgiht time ...
plz help..!

they will send a letter with the application to u and explain y they reject it .for Iraqi medical degree it is MBChB as they mention it in the bulletin . but usually they reject the application if yr name on the diploma is deferent from the name that already have i previously have this problem with the ECFMG . by the way which year was ur graduation from Basra ???/

thanx for your fast reply , i'm waiting for the ecfmg letter explaining why did they reject my application .
my name on the diploma is exactly the name i wrote.
anyway .. i'll wait and see.
i'm jordanian and i studied in basra . i graduated in the year 2002

my brother is Dr Mohamed Alhakeem i'm sure u know him and my family still living there
i did USMLE CK last Friday and waiting the score

sure i know Dr.Muhammad al hakeem and i know Dr. raja'a ( the dentist ) and Dr. hussein al chalabi her husband very well.
what books did you use for the ck exam ? i'm using the blueprints right now...

yes they r my relative
I used Kaplan Notes it is almost like blueprint i sow them also they r good also i did Kaplan q bank and USMLE WORLD Q Bank it is very nice qs and explinations and the qs r like qs in the real exam in length and subjects
