if i do a clinical rotation in the US while i am enrolled in a german medical school, what type of visa do i need? some programs recquire a J1. does that mean that in order to get another visa later on (say for a residency or another elective) i have to stay in my home country for 2 years, or does that rule only apply for J1 residency visas?
