You mentioned in a previous post that you do not view applicant photo unless invited for interview. Does photo downloaded=photo viewed? If so, all of the programs I applied to have downloaded my photo but no interviews yet.

No - a download of a photo doesn't mean that the PD has seen your picture.

Programs can download all the files available or none of them - they cannot pick or choose files. All or nothing.

Program directors cannot view photos unless an applicant has been invited for an interview.

And I do not think your looks play any role for your interview chances. If they do..I am surprised. One might get an advantage of their looks but it shouldn't be decreasing anybody's chances for being interviewed. Afterall we are competing for a doctors position and fortunately not a beauty peagant or Miss America.

We interviewed some really good looking men and women only to find out that they are dumber than dirt. 8) And that's putting it politically correct......
