what are the calcium and phosphate levels in osteoporisis? increase, normal or decrease?

In comparing osteoporosis, von Recklinghausen ds of bone, Osteomalacia, Pagets ds of bone -The Calcium is increased only in Von Recklinghausen ds of bone.The Alk phos is increased in most but markedly increased in Pagets ds of bone.
Mani thats is a great irony or paradoxical affect. You have decreased bone mass but interestingly normal Ca and Phosphate. grin

yeah. i was told that calcium, phosphate, akp are all normal in osteoporosis. just could not understand why, especailly calcium is normal. anyway, maybe just try to memorize for the moment. thanks you guys.

* Osteoporosis is not only part of normal aging, can be caused by
Glucocorticoids and Heparin

Its a rare hypersensitivity with impure preparations with prolonged use

does it cause osteoporosis in a baby of a mother who has been taking warfarin(which I'm aware of) or it also causes in adults taking it chronically?
