Dear bbb,
First of all, Thank u for being such a great help to all of us! :icon_salut:
I am an IMG interested in pursuing an Anesthesia residency in US. For the clinical base yr, I am looking for Int Med Prelim/Transitional programs offering H1s. I have good scores (99s in Steps 1,2 and 86 in Step 3), but no observerships or clin exp in US. I was hoping a cleared Step 3 would help me get a H1. Is it possible to get into Int Med Preliminary and/or Transitional programs which can sponsor H1 for me this year? Or am I just dreaming an impossible situation? Please help!

As far as I know, you won't find a prelim or Transitional program that will sponsor a one year H1b visa. Your best bet might be to find an anesthesia program that has the internship year built into it.
