Dear colleagues, Which one would be the best choice to supplement the other study resources, The Washington Manual or the CMDT? They say that WM is considered the bible of the medical ward, but everybody talks about the CMDT, too, so it is difficult to decide between the two of them. Would you be so kind as to give me your opinions? Thank you and good luck to everybody. A.

from what i recall, washington manual is more about the treatment and management plans, while CMDT has alot more info about the pathophysio and diagnostic options. i think both are good. if you have used washington manual while you were in med school, then go with that. i used CMDT throughout med school, so i am more comfortable reading. plus the font is bigger! good luck

hi i just read you question....i am about to take step 2 and i used cmdt. i like the fact that it has some patho-physio which helps a great deal when tackling questions.
