When applying to a residency program, do the directors look at where you obtained your undergraduate degree and M.D. from? In other words, if you go to a less competitive undergraduate school and medical school, do you have a significantly less chance of being matched to that residency program? Or is more of what you obatined on your USMLE's and what your transcript and grades look like?
