medial lemniscus-carries sensory info. for discriminative touch, joint position, vibratory and pressure from tunk and limbs (dorsal-column)
medial longitudinal fasciculus-fascicle between nucleus abducens and contralateral oculomotor nucleus and is responsible for conjugate horizontal gaze

MLF often damaged in patients with multiple sclerosis... it co-ordinates the medial movt of the contralateral eye when lateral gaze is attempted by one eye... in case damaged, leads to nystagmus in teh abducting eye on attempted lateral gaze i.e. conjugate gaze is not possible.. however convergence is maintained as on accomodation... hope this helps... good explanation in high yield
