Hi everyone, last week I have taken my CS and after the exam I figured out it was not pretty good, I mean I forgot to do certain things that I have to do, during exam...I forgot to ask very important questions to my patients after leaving the room..Anyway I think my patient notes were not completed as well..I feel quite down right now, but anyway, I could not change the things after now... But I do not want to discourage anyone, overall exam and cases were not so complicated. I had 11 cases, and most of them were quite similar to cases everyone studies and knows... I have a question to all who has already taken CS : Is there anyone felt these way and pass while expecting a fail score...I really need some feedback... Good luck to everyone.

Hi Alice8, Although I haven't taken the exam yet, all I can tell you that sometime we think that we've done a bad exam but then the result is totally different. I just received my step 1 score and it took me as a surprised because the score is more than I had expected. I had done so many gueses that you could imagine and all I had wanted was a PASS and I've got 91!!! For this reason, try to calm down and take some days off because you can't changed what you had or hadn't done. Then, make a review just in case but don't put yourself so hard. Good luck and tell us when you've got the result Ceci

Thanks so much Ceci, you are right there is nothing to do from now for the things already happened..I will try to relax for couple days and start to make a study plan in case of receiving the bad news. I am so happy for your score, it is a really a good one and good luck with the remaining part.

Hi alice, I passed the CSA last year and due the subjective nature of the exam its normal to feel how you are feeling now. Don't worry, believe me its not worth it. Very few people actually fail the exam. So you really have all the odds working for you rather than against you. I wish you the best.

took exam last week too and I think i made a mess of it! CS is very different from Step 1 and CK. With these exams, it was still multiple choice, and your guesses might have been correct. So more or less, even though you did bad in these exams, you'd get better ratings. For CS however, you'll know then and there whether you did good or you flopped. There is no guess work in CS. Its either you did well or bad - and you'll know right away. I dread the day I get my envelope. But people are right, cases were common. Its just a matter of composure (which i am afraid i haven't got). O well, hope for the best for the both of us!

Hi Alice  Hope you are feeling good now. This exam is so subjective that it's no use thinking so much about the results. I was just wandering, how come you got only ELEVEN CASES ???i took my exam at Chicago and got TWELVE CASES. Does anybody knows how many cases actually they evaluate. Thanks any way.

Hi guys For the question regarding 11 cases in my exam: I think for the examinees who take 3.00 pm session they only have 11 cases in Atlanta, but I am not sure at all. But I am sure they use only ten cases for evaluation.

hi, i ntook my exam in houston. i had 11 pts. only 10 will be scored 1 was for research. its is not an easy test .time is always very short. i also think i messed my exam particularly in physical examination. did nt have enough time to do all focused exam. also in some encounters i could not do the counselling bec the time was always short. I also took pipe. I got higher performance in data collection while lower to average performance in communication, interpersonal skills and spoken. i have no idea where i am standing.in two patients there was no physical examinationone was the tel encounter and was the case of female std.do we have to pass in both hist and physical exam check list or the score is integrated together for hx and physical.if some body knows please let me know.
