Hi all,

I'm an Australian IMG who recently aced Step 2 CK but being from out of town the Step 2 CS exam is scary! I would be most grateful if you could reply to the following questions:

1) Do medically trained people (eg nurse, doctor) etc run and grade the step 2 CS exam or is it just a lay person with a tick-box scoring chart? e.g. if our technique isnt perfect for a particular examination but one did all the right steps will they realise? or will they just give full marks for ticking off the right things? I imagine that the exam is tougher if we get examined by an actual M.D..... :arrow: graded by SP's..checklist marked by them .

2) Do we get graded on this exam with a percentile score etc or is it just Pass/Fail? :arrow: pass or fail

3) Where is the examiner during the exam?In the room with us or watching on video? :arrow: there will be hidden video cameras, my friends also said in atleast 2 cases ,there will be a doc behind the wall,he can see us but we can't see him .They said it is not meant for scoring/will not affect our exam.

This exam is making me nervous. Please help, :arrow: Donot be nervous ,if u r already an graduate ,it is very easy indeed .Go ahead as if you are going to see 11/12 O.P. cases.
