why are there elevated levels of uracil and orotic acid in the urine when u have a ornithine transcarbamoylase deficiency :?:

this deficiency leads to accumulation of carbamoyl PO4 which is also a substrate for aspartate transcarbamoylase in pyrimidine synthesis. so divergence of carbamoyl PO4 to pyrimidine pathway leads to excess of ortic acid and uracil
