I have the same questions. Anybody heard about Kaplan 5 days course for 2 CS? Is it worth the money?
Is it realistic to pass this exam, never beenin the US hospitals and just by reding books and may be usmleworld.com?

I think Uworld is sufficient .No need to go for kaplan ( why to waste money in haste).
Real exam will be having only common routine cases .Just that the pts there r not real pts (SP).
If you want to practice few cases ,you can look into OSCE.But again ,i think Uworld is enough .

Not long at all. The cases are all easy and straightforward. I think the only way to really prepare for this is to practice either in the hospital or with friends/classmates.

called ECFMG yesterday.. they said.. NONE of the results have been released yet!!! not even the 1st June results. & they havent yet decided when they will.. the ecfmg will know 15 days in advance of releasing the results.. so that will be atleast November.... maybe December!

usmle-world courses cost $50 for 1 month.you can google the site.Also you may play dr. and patient with friend using first aid for step 2 cs.There are other books which maybe used as a for guide hx taking & PE.Best Wishes BUDSKI(aka BUD)
