I have previously attempted to check the USMLE step 1 exam result via IWA and was getting a red message "you have already registered for step 1, you cannot register again... if you fail... blah blah blah.... takes some time for the exam result... blah blah blah....". It has always been like this. Then today it let me reapply and showed me the eligiblity period page... I was mortified... Then it checked Oasis and it turned out that my score was not reported yet. It just occured to me that my eligibility period was July-Sep and today is Oct 1st, so now it let me reapply since my alotted time has expired. What a scare...

I heard that you usually get the eligibility period before the exam result... It the status is "Reported" then the message will change to "You have passed." I think the eligibility period page is posted after the time you choose for the exam has expired.... But still, when is your eligibility period? If yours end in September do you still get the red message?

I just talked to my senior and he told me I was a fool trying the Oasis Trick before Oasis says the status of my exam is "Reported". The site would not know whether you have passed or failed. They only recognize whether I'm trying to schedule two exams simultaneously until they received the score via internet by Oasis. (A good scolding really calms me down.) Any opinion?

U know what?? My score was reported on sept 29th. And now i'm getting the eligibility page (ended in sptember for me too)... I think i didnt passs!! pretty bummed out. i gotta do all these steps before my baby is born-41/2 mths!!

We have the same case, i took my step 1 sep 3 and tried the oasis trick at first it says that "already registered for step1 and cant blah blah blah..." until yesterday Oasis said that my score was already reported sep29 so i tried reapplying for step1 expecting it will tell me that i passed and cannot reapply again but it showed me the leigibility page and didnt show the red page that says i passed, does this mean i failed? I have the same eligibility period July-Sep. I really hope that Oasis trick is false because it's freaking me out. :cry: Has anybody experienced doing the Oasis trick but turned out he passed after all despite showing the eligibility page?

oh, this is terrible!! i am so sorry ladybug! Let me know when ur score comes, and i will let u know when mine does...i havent heard anyone say that it was a false alarm yet, but i truly pray it was!

i remember someone having a false alarm. if i remember it right, the title of the thread was: "i passed (oasis trick failed me)" or something like that.
i'm having problems with the site too. IWA doesn't let me reapply but it also doesn't say that i passed. all i see is a page with a html code. and i still can access oasis without any problems. hope we all passed.

docmama, il let u know when i receive mine i think il get it in 1 to 2 wks when r u going to get yours? what a coincidence, i think we have the same predicament cause im 6 months pregnant and need to pass that exam

Guys for me sadly oasis did work, when I see in oasis that my report was given I went to reapply and it let me, so that means that I fail the test which I really did when I get my report.
They are saying that only work for IMG'S.
