My husband is working on H1 for 6 years. I'm planning to join residency on J1. Can he switch to J2 and continue his present job?

Check with his employer - but once he goes to a J-1 visa, he can't apply for another H visa. ___________________ bbb - trying to combine common sense and humour into realistic answers, but not going to guess on anyone's chances of getting into a position....off until July 14th exploring the caves of NYC
