I graduated 5 years ago and was totally out of medicine in these 5 years. Now that I want to start the preparation of USMLE I fear that I may not find rsidency because of this long gap since graduation (will be 7 years by the time I will be ready for match) . I want a genuine advice as to whether I should start the prepartion or start looking for other career options.
