I took the CS on 14th August in Philadelphia. No results yet. Spoke to ECFMG... "4-6 weeks". No joy yet. Is anyone in a similiar situation? Has ANYONE got their CS results? If so can they please reply saying when they took the exam, where & when didi they get the results ?

I would also like to know if anyone knows how long we should expect to wait before we get the results of the new Step 2CS. Having gone through both Step 1 and Step 2 CK, and flying to the US to sit this exam, AND applying through ERAS for residency programs, it really is pretty critical that results come out soon. If they are going to hold these results back for ages for "statistical purposes", there are going to be a lot of people adversely affected. ECFMG certification depends on the CS results, as does the ability to apply for and sit Step 3, and hence become eligible for the H1B visa. I am currently studying for Step 3, and I am constantly distracted by worries about whether the results will come out on time. I sat Step 2 CS in September, and I am now very keen to know if we can expect results to start appearing in a regular fashion in October, November or (god forbid) later still. If the people at USMLE are reading - please don't take too long with our results...we need them!!!!
