Congrats on surviving Frances. I too live in FL, and my Step2 exam was cancelled due to Frances. Finally, giving the test on Tuesday 21st. All those who read this msg, please pray for me.

Hi guys,
Thanx alot for all your wishes. I am finally done with Step2. It was surely a doable exam. And your prayers were a great help. I had taken subscription of Kaplan Q-bank and USMLE WORLD, which were both a great help. A number of Qs were pretty straightforward, though there were others where you would get double-minded between two answers. Time management was not a problem. I had done Crush the Boards predominantly during the last month, and strongly recommend it. If you guys have any Qs, feel free to write to me. I'd be most pleased to be of any help to you all.
Thanks to all my friends on this forum who helped me during this phase.

Hi, Anne. Great to hear good news from you. Can you tell me what books/materials you used for step2 and what should I pay extra attention to after my recent exam of step1? I mean, do you find interchageable questions between step1 and step 2? also, did you do NMBE for step2? I know it's highly recommended for step1, but how about its value for step2? Thank you very much! Now it's time for you to relax a bit, huh?

Hi Bluestar,
I had used Kaplan lecture notes except for Psychiatry and Gynae where I used Blueprints. For review, I used Crush The Boards. I took USMLEWorld and Kaplan for a month each, but didnt take NBME. Anyway, I heard its good, so you can take it if you wish. There were some Qs like Step1 stuff---some biostats calculations etc, but it was easy.

is it doable to study usmle world & Qbank in a month?how many hrs. did u study in a day & how long?

Hi Tuesday,
Thanx for your wishes. Well, I took a month subscription of Kaplan Q-bank 2 months before the exam. And in the next month, I took a month subscription of USMLEWORLD. So I am not sure if you can do both simultaneously in the same month. I had no fixed hours for study, took almost 4 months.
