Greetings prep4usmle
First of all, thank you for a wonderful and helpful site.
I have been posting in the Step2CK forums and realized there is no Mnemonics thread like their is for the Step1 forum. Can we get a general link started for that? Perhaps list a Mnemonics link after Exam Experiences, Support Forum and before the subjects categories. There are some good ones out there.
For example, a surgery mnemonic:
Causes of post-operative fever:
WATER, WIND, WALK, WOUND, & WEIRD DRUGS
WATER = uruinary tract infections
WIND = atelectasis or pneumonia
WALK = deep vein thrombosis
WOUND = surgical wound infection
WEIRD DRUGS = drug fever

Thanks for the suggestion,
I put a sticky topic for mnemonics in all speciality subforums for Step 2 CK. If the topics are getting really heavy than a separte subforum may be dedicated to mnemonics in the future.
