I took the exam on Nov 6 and had exactly same scores tham a.f.000 for the real test as well as for NMB, kaplan and UW!. Since I graduated in 1985, I am satisfied with this performance.

Ran out of time didnot do Kaplan qbook or qbank
but read the notes.

UW=68%
NBME 1 = 710 (3 weeks b4)
NBME 3 =540 (1 week b4)
real score ws average of the 2 NBME scores!(99 and 92= 95!)

UW did as a learning tool
Kaplan notes,UW, Boards and wards and Crush step3(very good for step 2 management issue)
Wouldnt recomend to take nbme3 bcs it doesnt correlates and real exam was like nbme2.

Congratulations dn25 !! This is an excellent score. Are you participating 2007 match or not ?? Good luck for match or Step2 CS ??
More importantly when did your OASIS got updated and when did you get the score in mail. Because I heard somewhere that score are not reported between Jan 1st and 15th. Please let me know as I gave my exam on Dec 18th.

took exam dec7, score reported Jan 3. as mush as I know they mail score on first week of its just prometric doesnt work.

I got my step2 score report and I am very happy to see the results. Thanks to Almighty.
Score: 259/99
I took my CK exam on 28DEC2006 and got the score report on 20JAN2007. Following are further details about my preparation.
USMLE World: 72%
NBME1: 770 (35 days before actual exam)
NBME2: 680 (28 days before actual exam)
NBME3: 670 (14 days before actual exam)
I would like to thank all the members of these forums (Prep4usmle.com, Usmle.net, Usmleforum.com). I got lots and lots of useful information from these forums.

Hello!
Prepared for 6 months, tightly studied for 2 months. I worked full-time and studied part-time.
Score 218/89.
Studied with Kaplan notes and UW.
UW: first time in tuition mode. Second time 74%
Kaplan QBank (22 blocks): 70%
NBME1: 410 (3 weeks before exam)
Although it is not a good score, I hope my information, together with all the above 99ers'. will be helpful to ongoing examer.

Here are my scores, exam on Dec 22nd, score reported Jan 17th, studied at home while also full time mom to twins 10 months old.
Step2CK 244/99
UW 62% all tutor mode and review of explanantions
Kaplan QBank 70% timed
USMLE CD 40/39/40
NBME form1 470 two weeks before exam
NBME form2 520 one week before exam
additionally reviewed all questions in Kaplan QBook and NMS QBook
I was inspired by all the people in these forums who scored high, thank you! I hope to inspire other moms out there - please don't give up!

PREP TIME : 4 1/2 mths
BOOKS USED : KAPLAN books and Q book ,UW Q BANK ONLINE,CMDT for reference.
Step 2 CK SCORE: 94/232
Step 2 ck exam date: 18th Dec
Oasis updated on : 18th Jan
Recd scores in mail on: 22nd Jan
NBME FORM 3 :410- corelates to 194 (7WKS BEFORE EXAMS)
NBME FORM 2: 520- corelates to 222 (GAVE 1 DAY AFTER FORM 3 SCORE WHICH WAS VERY DEPRESSING)
NBME FORM 1: 520- corelates to 222 (3 WKS BEFOR EXAMS)
UW: 1st time : 60%(completed 100%,timed)
UW: 2nd time: 87%(completed 100%,timed)
Kaplan Q Book 1st attempt: 70%(completed 100%,timed sets)
Kaplan Q Book 2nd attempt: 85%(completed 100%,timed sets)

hello friends,got my score ysday,just wanted to thank all the members of the forum,this forum was very useful to me,this thread was especially very helpful during my preparation.
Total prep. time-------------------3.5 months
books used----------------kaplan material,UW.
Nbme form 1 -----520(5 weeks before the test)
Nbme form 2-------620(10 days before the test)
usmle cd--------39,40,41
UW------------55 to 83in various tests,i used it as a laerning tool and 1 piece of advice for everyone,do it at least once with a good understanding of all the explanations before ur test,most of the concepts in my xam were similar to UW.
TEST TAKEN ON 23RD DECEMBER
SCORE REPORTED ON JANUARY 17TH
SCORE------99PERCENTILE(253)
I thank God for rewarding me for my hardwork and I am also grateful to my family members for their support and co operation.

I have been a lurker on this post during my preparation for Step 2 CK. I have benefited from the posts on this forum, and it's now my turn to give back. I am a fourth-year medical student at a US med school, and I took Step 2 CK on December 29. I wanted to share my experience in preparing for the exam as well as my result.
I studied solidly for the month of December. I ONLY did USMLEWorld. I completed all the questions and read most of the explanations one time through. My cumulative score was 61%. I did all random, 46-question timed blocks. It was arduous and extremely slow-going at times reading explanation after explanation. I didn't use any review book. Doing questions and reading the explanations was more engaging for me than trying to read through a review text. The two days before the exam, I read through the 1-3 line "educational objectives" at the end of each of the explanations as a final review.
I was concerned about using USMLEWorld as my only source of preparation for the exam, but I was simply unmotivated to do anything more. Additionally, the explanations alone in USMLEWorld were enough to memorize!
Finally, to assess where I stood, I took the NBME test #1 two weeks prior to taking CK and scored a 520.
So, did it work for me? Yes! I received my score on January 24 and received a 238/96. I was thrilled. USMLEWorld worked for me.

I don't remember the exact numbers because the test was a month ago, but:
step 1 215 or so
step 2 208/85
usmleworld: from 0 to 100% on practice tests, average score of 40-50%
I did well on things I studied (ob-gyn) but not on stuff I hadn't (endocrine and peds in particular). Had a couple of onc questions that stumped me (among many others). My school doesn't have shelf exams. Used First Aid for Step 2 which was helpful, though there were occasional mistakes in my version. Also Brochert's Crush was okay -- a little too much of a skeleon for me since I was starting with little baseline knowledge. Did only about 1/4 to 1/2 of usmleworld questions and found that many (maybe 7) were on my test in almost exactly the same form.
