Step 2CK : 99 (247) Took the exam in Aug in India.
Prep time: 7 weeks
Materials used: Kaplan notes and dis UW once
UW score: 62%
USMLE CD1: 41/46
NBME 3: 530 (3days before the exam)

Step 2 CK: 99/245. Exam date August 25
Preparation: Kaplan Lecture notes. DVD lectures ,only IM and GYN/OBS.Read IM twice and the rest only once. Did NBME-1 one week before exam and after 400Qs on Kaplan Q-Bankand scored 550. Did NBME-2 after 5 days and 2 days before exam and scored 650. But this time i have done 80%of Q-Bank(The New Kaplan Q-Bank was very helpful) .
Over all i prepared for 3.5 month. Never did USMLE World. I am very much grateful to kaplan q-bank.

first i felt alittele embrassing for putting my marks with all 99's here but then i thought maybe its helpful for others to get better mark anyways.

I just took step 2 CK today, was a little worried. had a 242 in step 1 and felt good walking out of that. I walked out of step 2, didn't feel that warm fuzzy feeling...
Had : 580 NBME I(7 weeks before) 620(3.5 weeks before) and UW:75-80% at the end on random did the whole thing..studied 6monts...
heaps of weird paeds stuff on the exam.. heaps of stuff where I felt I needed more info or the choices for tx/mng sucked... didn't run out of time at all, got to review my answers at the end did the best I could... about 15 questions per block I was slightly unsure of about 7 of those I had it narrowed down to 2 answers.. not what I expected I guess...as hard as UW and harder than NBME thas for sure

Hello everybody!
it took me a while to share my exparience,but it's better late than never,lol.
so,here i go:
time of preparation-11 months on and off(which is the worst) alltogether-about 5-6 months of actual studying.
NBME 1-530/2 months befor exam/
NBME 2-560/2 days befor the exam/
UW-65%
studied Kaplan books twice,and UW-nothing else
actual CK-93/230
feel like i could have done better,but overall i'm pretty happy with my score.

Kaplan QB 2000+Q: 69%
UW: 67.00%
USMLE CD: 89% (for all 3b).
Kaplan full length: 74%
NBME both form 1 and 2: 610/241
real score: 234/95
test taken on 13 sep
result reported on 5 sep
mail received on 7 sep.

I get score report for step 2CK today,thanks GOD,i passes 83/205,i prepare it for the long time already and taken exam third times,my USMLE world is 63%,usmle cd 37/41/34,did not do nbme exam.USMLE world has many good questions,i recommend it for everyone prepare USMLE.thanks

Hi all ,
Gave my CK tday...God !!!!!!!!!!!! The only advice i wud like to give is to do UW very thoroughly!!!!!!!! Believe me u wil find similar Qs and concepts in most of the blocks in the real exam............
Has any one idea abt the scoring???? I think i have done arnd 70% questions correct??? Is that enuf to pass???

I think if I used other resources besides World I may have gotten a 99 butt t all depends on how much of your life you are willing to sacrifice.

NMS completed 4 of the 5 tests av 77%

Kaplan diagnostic: 79% (taken about 4 months before the exam, without any specific preparation)
Kaplan Qbook: 83% (done while preparing)
Kaplan simulated: 80% (taken about 1 month before the exam, after preparing)
Kaplan Qbank: 76% (random blocks, timed)
USMLEworld: 74% (ditto)
My prep consisted of reading the Kaplan lecture notes, which took 5 weeks. I then spent 6 weeks doing Qbank and UW. (I'd also bought First Aid, but hardly used it except a quick glance through the picture section. And I'd done a few of the PreTest books while doing my rotations.) I found the actual exam closer to Kaplan Qbank than UW
Score: 277/99

finally i am done with my exam and i am happy that i am able to share my success with u guys
gave exam on 16th oct, Oasis updated on 8th Nov
Score is 240/97
UW score: 68%
NBME score: 530 (15 days before my exam)
USMLE CD: 42/39/40
Mock Exam Score: 76%
Kaplan simulated exam score: 68% (little bit low but was 1 month before my exam)
Kaplan Q book: 75%
Kaplan Q abnk: 76% (did very few blocks)
i studied for 2 months after my step1, used only kaplan lecture notes.
