Step 2 ck score 261/99
studied for 2 months while working in A&E.
used Kaplan materials and usmle world.
usmle world average score 75% (Completed half only)
kaplan Q book average score 85% ( Half completed)
NBME 1 month before the exam 570
did not attempt NBME again

Just got my result!
Step 2 CK score 99/ 251
Studied for 4 1/2 months, while working 2 1/2 months
I read Kaplan notes once, listed to a few DVDs, read crush the boards 1 month before, and First Aid in the last week
Kaplan Q-bank: dont remember
Kaplan Q-book: 85%
USMLE World: around 80%
KAPLAN simulated: 83%
USMLE CD: 42/46/40
NBME: did not do.

Studied for 4 months, part time.
Kaplan diagnostic exam before preparation was 65%
Took Kaplan center prep 30 visit program, watched videos once.
Read Kaplan notes once (IM notes twice)
Read Crush step 2 once for stuff other than IM
Kaplan Qbank: 76% (finished 80% of all Qs)
Kaplan Qbook: didn't have time to do
UW 70%
NBME form 1: one month before exam 670
USMLE CD: only had time to do the first block two days before exam, got 44

preparation results : ( am a foreign student )
I studied for 3 month specially with usmleworld.
USMLE practice CD: 80%,91%,84%
Kaplan q bank: 76.9%
USMLE WORLD : 70 %
REal Exam score : 86 !!
now i have to prepare for the CS.Any suggestions?? Is the usmelworld website as got as for Step 2 Ck?? What about the FA ??

Finally, made it.
Kaplan QBank : 83%
UW : 80%+. Dont remember.
NBME1 : 610 (3 months before exam)
NBME2 : 620 (1 month before exam)
NBME3 : 690 (1 week before exam)
Actual Step2 CK score : 99 / 265
Exam taken : Dec 7th 2005
Studied just Kaplan and UW. Nothing else. Felt rotten after exam, but somehow got a good score. Ridiculously many choices (from A to P for some questions).
In the score sheet, it says that the Arithmetic Mean is 217 with SD of 23.

Hope this information will be helpful,
result: 90/221
USMLE CDs: 84 cumulative 1 month before
USMLEworld: 64% finished 10 days before
Qbank: ~ 80%
NBME I: 490 (14 days before the exam)
NBME II: 660 (10 days before the exam)
it was quite diappointing to get 221, because I took NBME I in a very noisy library environment and I was quite sure that I will make a much better result in the actual exam, so I decided to take the NBME II in a better situation to add to my confidence and the result was very much assuring (660/ 250)... In the real exam everything was good and after the test I felt very confident... but the result is far less than what I expected... I used mainly Blueprints for the preparation, which I don't suggest because they are too bulky and have many unnessecary material

Exam date/ place: Dec.27, 05/ Tokyo
(in chronological order)
KaplanQbook:75% (did 50 questions as a block, timed, finishd all, did only once)
usmleworld:69% (timed, finished 1/2, did only once)
USMLE CD:44/39/40 (2wks before the exam)
real exam:93/229
I am an IMG from Japan, working hard as a pediatrician in Tokyo. Prepared for 5months mainly in the evenings and on weekends. For IMGs, including me, whose mother tongue is not English, time management is the key in step2CK. Not so satisfied with the result, compared to step1(98/242), but I think I did my best. Maybe I should have completed UW rather than Qbook.
This forum helped me a lot, and I hope my experience would help somebody.

my exam date Jan 17th,2006.
studied for 5 months,studied seriously in the last 2 months full time.
study materials; kaplan study materials and usmleworld.
very little from Crush.
highly recommend kaplan and UW.
my scores in practice exams were:
UW:did not bother about the score much and didnt do it in a standard mode.but mostly got 50-75 range.I did it after the first read.mainly used it as a learning tool.
kaplan qbook:got around 80%
kaplan qbank:internal medicine-75 to 80% and the rest above 80%
kap simulated:76%(3 wks before exam)
NBME2:650/248-equivalent to 99.Did not do form 1&3
(3 wks before)
ECFMG CD:41,36,42. (3 wks before)
Actual exam score 98/242.I am happy but not too much as i have expected 99 based on my nbme score which is supposed to be highly predictive.My poorest performance in the real exam was in psychiatry.I studied mostly from kaplan and UW(did thrice).
