The more you stay calm in the exam - the better. I am proud of myself - didn't feel anxious for a single second through out the day. Not that i was perfectly prepared. I voluntarily suppressed the thoughts.

I've been a silent observer in this thread so far. got my score report today.
Exam date: 31/03 Result date: 23/04
Study materials used: Kaplan notes read 2 times. FA last week(selected topics...not as good as for step1), UW and my notes mainly.
UW= 61 percentile. completed timed.
NBME2= 480(2 weeks before the xam) NBME3= 520(2 days before the xam)
NMS= 85% (good bank...reasonable q in standard with the test. though some too easy also)
KAPLAN Q BOOK( 75-85% scoring)..but not represnetative of xam..just a test skills sharpner for the xam
KAPLAN Q BANK (downloaded version) too easy compared
STEP1=78/194
STEP2=94/227
Studied 3 months fully...2 months between hosp duties. This is an arising for me...cos I've been downtrodden after my step1 results. Was about to give up USMLE. I guess this is a lesson for me, I like to share it here;people never lose heart strive harder when life takes a turn at u and finally u can tame it. A million thx to my Lord Jesus for pulling me through with his grace. Without His mercy i would have been lost.

exam date: april 1st
uw score: 65% (done only 50% of questions)
usmle cd: 36 (done only one block)
step2 ck score: 230 (95)

just got result 91/220. Thank God. And thank you for great support frim this forum.
Here is my experience
prep time 6 months
Kaplan notes
usmleworld 58% first time in timed, unued mode.
NBME1 (6 weeks before exam) 520
NBME2 (4 weeks before exam) 420 
Thought because of doing usmleworld repeatly make me lazy to dealt with new questions
NBME3 (2 weeks before exam) 520 
Last 2 weeks read Crush step3, personally think very helpful for quick review. I like it because it is written in spoken style, good for those are not good in Einglish like me.
usmle cd 41,39, 37
Exam. didn't have time for the last 2 questions on every block, 3 on the 3rd and 5 on the last block.

hello got my score today.. 99/245.. studied for 5 months..
uworld was a great learning tool... did kaplan notes twice...Took NBME tests..in last week
result was better than all 3 nbme scores.. did boards and wards in last week..was an excellent book...!!
above all had immense faith in allmighty.. he took good care of me..

Dear old FMGs:
As my name, I graduated in 1988. Currently, I hold a full time job in U.S. Before moving into U.S., I have over 10 years clinical experience in my homecountry.
Years ago, I made the decision to take USMLE exams.
These years, I have to keep a stable job to support myself here and adjust my visa status from J1 to green card step by step. Life is good! But, life isn't easy, too.
To any of FMGs, in particular, old FMG like me, it isn't easy to get a decent score on any USMLE exam. However, we can make it as long as we work hard.
Today, I got my Step2 CK score report. It is 229/95.
Double 229/95 on step 1 and step2 CK.
Old IMGs, don't give up. We can do it.

UW: 65 % (was in the 50s then rised gradually till the end) (did 100% of it)
Kaplan q bank: 74% (started at 70 then rised) (did 70 % of it)
Kaplan qbook (72-80 %)

I just received the scores yesterday, I can't believe it... since I thought I was going to fail... I was very depressed for the last 3 weeks awaiting my results... I did a lot of silly mistakes but alhamdulelah it turned out good at the end.....
Its doable guys... just study well, and concentrate on UW... there's nothing like it... in the exam I actually felt like I was just doing some blocks from the UW....

UW: First Round (timed, random questions) : 43~67%, average 52%, last 8 blocks: 59.8%; Then focused on wrong questions and finish half of them before exam.
NBME I: 450 (3weeks before exam)
USMLE CD: 35/35/38 (1 week before exam)
Real Exam: 224/92
Studied Kaplan books, Step II Secret, some topics from FA. UW is my major learning source.

i only did the 2250 questions of uw once.

Got 252/99 in the real exam,
80-90% in Kaplan and
70-80% in USMLEWorld.
The only way to score is to do as many questions as you can.

Studied for 6-8 months
Kaplan 5-6 times.. FA once.. Crush the boards did few chapters
Usmle world 61% (random untimed) got done with it in january
Gave NBME form 2 on Feb 18th - got a low score of 204
Form 3 on March 2nd - score improved to 220
Form 1 on March 28th - scored 243
USMLE CD 2008 - 36,43,43 1 day before exam
Took Step 2- Apr 23rd - 99/248 Score reported JUST NOW : )
It was the effort I had put in after I gave first NBME form which helped me achieve this
Thanks to this forum for constant support and updates

Step 2ck score: 99/256
UW first time: 68% (second time 75% 91st percentile) ----------->subject-wise/timed
kaplan Qbank: 76% ------------->Once and random/timed
NBME form 1: 550-----------------> two months before the test
NBME form 2: 680-----------------> 1 week before
USMLE CD: 42, 40, 38 ----------->2 weeks before
Some tests of kaplan Qbook, NMS and questions of this forum
Material used:
Kaplan notes twice (some chapters just once) and kaplan DVDs(Fischer, psyquiatry, nephro, OBGYN, neuro, endocrino)
FA and some chapters of secrets

hi i got my score today!
it is 92-223
Online:
NBME 1 = 570 ( 96 )
NBME 2 = dont remember but the equivalent was 91
Resources:
Kaplan lecture notes = 2x
NMS = 75%
Qbook = around 75 %
UW = 60% ( revised again and the percentage went up )
poor time management during exam: missed around 10 questions in total ! 
anyway its over ! and all is good that ends good.
Prep time roughly 2 - 3 months !
step 1 score: 89 ( 216 )

Hi!
I've just got my score.
Well, I had time for preparation about 4 months,
I did see only Kaplan video. And read Kaplan books.
About 1 month b4 I did the exam, I did UW and USMLE CD.
On the day of exam, I felt sleepy and headache because of insomnia,
I thought I really wasn't sure my answers.
Now when I 've got my score,I feel relaxed, it is not how many score I have,
but it would make me more concentrate studying 2cs.

Hello everyone.
Just got my 2ck score: 264/99 
8 weeks preparation with full time job.
Kaplan notes once.
UW qbank: 75% of questions. Average 72% with last 15 tests being 75% (46 questions, timed).
NBMEs: form 1 (6 weeks before): 590 (237)
form 3 (3 weeks before): 610 (241)
form 2 (1 week before): 730 (261)
My suggestion: qbank is the most important tool.. do as many questions as you can.
Thanks everybody.. I have been checking this forum often to get an idea how I was doing and I found it very helpful.

CK Step 2 score : 99 (256)
UW score: Initially 50's/60's, but I learnt the concepts, and repeat tests were 85-100%.
NBME 3: 800 (but I cheated because I checked discussion of questions on this website as well as other websites)
It does not matter what your initial results are - just learn the concepts and repeat the test.

guys actually what percentage of people do you think score >260? if you go by the percentile in the score card...
274 is 2 standard deviations.. that is there are 5% actually scoring above or = 275, now considering the no. of people that take USMLE that is serious competition
