Exam date: July, 23 2007 in Milan, Italy
Score reported: August, 22
Letter received: August, 22 (e-score)
SCORE: 241/99

Total prep time: 2 mo full time

Study resources: Kaplan LN and videos + Habermann's Internal Medicine Review book and videos + UW
UW: 70% cumulative (75% done) unused, timed 46 qs
NBME form 2: 600 (3 week before exam)
Dr Fisher's q book: 55% (too twisted and tough qs)

Qbook: 80 - 85% (too biased)

    Step 2 ck: 87/212
    score reported after 3 weeks.

    prep time: 6 weeks.

    Qs: only UW. (61%)

Well, the exam was harder than I thought, my biggest mistake would be not reading Kaplan notes at all,(didn't have time) only did Qs frm UW, and didn't study it good either...can't comment on other Q bank, but I feel UW is a very good sourse to study. If you can master UW, you will do good.

ps. poor sleep did have negative effect on my brain, slept only 2hrs, almost got a head explosion twds the end of my exam. so....sleep good the night bf your exam.

UW score: 69% ( time, unsued)
    USMLE CD 44, 40,38

    Exam date: 1st Sep
    Report: 20th Sep
Main study: Kaplan video and UW(68%), also read Boards&Wards in last 3 months before exam.
Before that I read each subject book + Kaplan videos during about 8 months. I am 10 years post-graduate and I am working full time as software developer...
    NBME 1: 580
    NBME 2: 530
    NBME 3: 550

NBME - I did in period 6-2 weeks before exam, time-paced mode.

    Step 2 CK score: 99/243

In my opinion, the real exam score correlates better with UW score...

Exam date: August 30th, e-score reported on Sept 19th.
Preparation time: 10 weeks, working full time.
    USMLEWORLD: 59%
NBME 1: 470 (10 days before the test), but I couldn't delay the exam!
    USMLE CD: 42, 39, 39
Study materials: Kaplan books on step 2 once, which I would definitely recommend, First Aid and, of course, USMLEWORLD.
The exam seemed doable but I had problems with time management since I think I had many extremely long questions and run out of time in almost every block!
Please, don't forget to have a good night sleep the day before your test, it's very important!
Good luck to everybody and take care!
