I just took Step 2 CK on the 27th and I have to say it was loaded with neuro, rheumatology, and peds.
Prepaation:
Kaplan Books
Kaplan Videos (for GYN only)
USMLE World (CUM 78%)
Kaplan Q Bank (CUM 77%)
NBME 1 (4 weeks prior): 680 (254)
USMLE CD: 45, 44, 43 Two days Prior
My exam was difficult I will post my score when it arrives. I believe that the Kaplan Q Bank was right on for this test... USMLE World was way too nit picky. I would recommend the Q bank for those preparing now.
My Step 1 Score was 258/99

Kaplan Simulated 71% (4 weeks before)

Completed Mock Exam before real studying, quick review
Used Kaplan vids, notes, Goljan Step 1 and Step 2 lectures (listened to them all again) and Step 2 Secrets
Real exam was mostly Medicine, with weird Psych questions with no real answer and scattered Peds and Ob, two biostats questions
Did not use First Aid (I can't stand mneumonics, I had no idea what some of those things were even about, more useless memorization)- yes, you can do well without using First Safe

Read topics in FA except Medicine once. No Kaplan Qbank/notes as don't have time (working full-time).
I think doing questions as many as possible and reading their explanations (esp. incorrect ones) will be a high-yield approach. (for exam purpose only)

Exam score 242/99
UW (done 100% once) ~60% (last few blocks average 64%, repreated qs ~75%)
Kaplan Qbank - didn't do
Kaplan Qbook - ~70%
2CK Mock - >85% (would not recommend to anyone to use as a MCQ sourse)
Used Kaplan notes as a primary sourse, also used FA
Definitely make notes along the way while doing UW, it seems hard and time consuming, but worth every minute of it (was my main source of repreating material before exam).

don't let usmles break your spirit remember that life got more important things than exams you are not 2 or 3 digit your a person and thats what matters in the end
usmle is not the perfect estimate of how good we are as a good doctor can't be assesed by a computer software

Did few blocks of Kaplan Q bank in file form but somehow liked better than UW
NBME 3 560 (1 week before). Resembled the exam better than UW and Kaplan Q bank.

IMG, grad 2000, MRCP (UK)
Exam date:16th July
Score: 99/263 (alhamdolillah)
Prep time: 3 months
used:
UW: scored average 75% (timed, random questions, first go)
Kaplan qbank (not as good as USMLEworld, for 1 month), average 75% (all questions first attempt)
also used Kaplan Qbook which was better than the online Qbank, didn't really use any review books, apart from Brocherts crush the boards
main advice: do lots, and lots of questions, USMLE world is better than Kaplan, (For step 1 I think Kaplan may be better, although I will find out soon, as taking Step1 in December Inshaallah)

lots of nice scores here, pretty intimidating to post this, but it doesn't help all that much to those who score lower to only see high scores.
i'm disappointed in this score, obviously, and given that i did relatively fine on step 1.
NBME form 2, 2 days before the exam, 430
UW average 57%, 1st time, timed, unrepeated questions
USMLE CD 39/46, 40/46, 34/46
Qbook, 70%
My exam had a lot of OBGYN, strange psych, and medicine of course. My NBME 2 days before lined up completely different from my actual exam (biggest strengths becoming biggest weakness),
Pretty confused with my score, felt like I was looking at someone else's score report.
