Hello,
This thread is reserved for posting USMLE Step 2 CK score corelations.
You may post scores from various resources used in your preparation.
Example:
Step 2 CK score: 88/226
USMLE CD: 79%
NBME: 70%
Kaplan Qbank: 66%
USMLE World: 48%
Exam Master CD: 54%
NMS Review Book: 69%
... This is just a guideline. Suggestions are welcomed.

Kaplan q book=76%
Kaplan q bank=81%

STEP 2 CK Score 78/191 exam date 1 october 2004
UW 64%
Kaplan Q Bank 76 %
Kaplan Simulated 76%
USMLE CD 73%
CK exam pattern tough and has been changed as compared to USMLE past exams. Difficult to score high. I prepared to score about 90 percentile but disapointed.

Sorry, in the previous post I put wrong UW score. The correct one is 55% /not 54%/. Just for the accuracy, it does not make any difference. :idea: :wink:

I started with Kaplan notes, then moved to FA, Kaplan Qbook, Crush the Boards last week, one month before the exam UW.
If to choose only three sources I would go for UW (absolutely!), then Crush the Boards and Kaplan notes. Tme management depends on your time schedule, for me 3 months worked (evenings and weekends, not very intensively). Hopefully it helps.
Remember on the first place: Practise Qs, Qs and Qs! It is the most important. Actually, the exams are not about your actual medical knowledge and how good doctor you are, it is about the passing the exam. :wink: :wink:

Hi guys,
Just got my step 2 score.I got 258/99 I was very happy with it.Before I share my experiences I want to thank all of you for being so helpful (especially docdoc and usmleasr who always helped me ) and its really nice being with you all.I hardly posted but I read through most of the forum and it was a great help.
My scores:Kap test:86%
Kap Q book:84%
UW:did only a few ques and avg was abt 75
And discussed a lot with friends.Also read CMDT and Kaplan material.
The exam correlates with Kaplan questions I felt.UW was a bit too picky in my opinion and in the exam,the questions were very long but pretty straight forward.abt 25 questions were easy ,5 to 10 were moderate and the rest were hard.Diabetes,Hypertention,CVS were tested heavily and Surgery was very difficult for me(May be because Im a IMG).I would be happy to answer any other questions you may have.

hi !
i took my exam (step 2 ck ) on 22 december - scored 259/99.. studied for 2 months used kaplan lecture notes only..
kaplan q book - 80 %
mock exam by adam brochert - 83 %
kaplan simulated exam - 83 %
usmleworld - 74 %
usmle cd - 44,42,42
NMS review - did very few questions (maybe 200 to 300) - 75 %
i didnt take nbme..

I just received my score yesterday.
My step 2 CK score is 253/99
I used Kaplan lecture, Crash the board and some of blueprint series.
Kaplan Q-bank 74% ... 1 month before exam
Kaplan Q-book 83 %
UW 72 % ... 2 week before exam
USMLE CD ... 43, 40, 42

Step 2 CK score= 85
Kap q-bank= 70%
Kap q book(not completed)= mostly got 35-38/50
Kap sim exam= 70%
uw= 52% ( in first round i got 49%, then i repeat the wrong questions, after that my score increased to 52%)
usmle cd= 32-36/46 in 3 tests. (i dont remember the exact scores)
learning material= questions with explanations + kap notes + crush step 2 (in last 10 days).

only read Kaplan lecture notes twice. Kaplan q-bank helped alot. I did not use it for step1 and got 83 :cry:

Kaplan Q Bank: 66% (completed majority, some with previously missed questions)
UW: 55% (only finished 1/2, all untimed, unused, mostly in my weaker areas)
NBME: 490 2 weeks before the exam

NBME I (3 wks b4) - 480

I'm really surprised and overwhelmed as well to get this score since i wasn't expecting too much especially with the way my practice Qs went on, nevertheless...i'm really thankful to our ALMIGHTY... and to people participating in this forum... I reviewed in Kaplan centerprep, used CTB, UW, Kaplan Qbook, NBME I and II...
