Folks,
I am in US
I took my step2 CK on August 10th in USA
I have not recieved my score yet.
I checked the OASIS and it does not say that my score was updated
I used the OASIS trick.... it does not work for me because I am retaking the exam.

If I dont recieve my score in 4 wks...does it mean that I FAILED ????
Late score reporting ....does it correlate with FAILING the exam???

I am very concerned....
Pl post ur experiences and input??

Hi vaga,

I hope you will pass and get your good score soon.
I dont think that late score reporting means failing exam, it might be due to some other reasons.
Also retaking the exam doesnt mean that oasis trick would not work for you. Once oasis indicates that your score has been reported, you can then try oasis trick.

I have no knowledge regarding this issue, but I can tell you my understanding about your problem.

Good luck!

Hi vaga:
Don't worry. Do not try to correlate late score with failing, it could be that you did so good that they are checking to be sure!!! By the way, it is not only you bute several people in the same situation. It appears that no score released last week (that I know off). I took exam Aug 14th. and no report yet and no score release in Oasis. However check tomorrow morning in Oasis as someone in other forum called ECFMG and maybe there will be releases late today.

I got the following message when I tried to perform the OASIS trick (It showed that my scores were reported today)

what does this mean??
does it say the same to everyone who tried the trick???

Our records indicate that you have already passed this Step or the equivalent NBMEŽ Part. The USMLE Policy on Reexamination generally does not allow applicants to retake a Step examination if they have already passed that Step or the equivalent NBME Part. There are, however, certain exceptions to this policy:
Exception #1: Applicants pursuing an H-1B visa who have passed NBME Part I and/or Part II may take the equivalent Step(s) to meet the examination requirements for this visa.
Exception #2: Applicants who have already passed a Step or Step Component or the equivalent NBME Part may retake that Step or Step Component if they need it to comply with a time limit for completion of all Steps or a requirement imposed by another licensing authority recognized by the USMLE program for this purpose.
Exception #3: Applicants who have passed all or a portion of the NBME certifying examinations, Part I, Part II, and Part III, and the Federation Licensing Examination (FLEX) Components 1 and 2 and have never been granted a medical license by a U.S. medical licensing authority, may take any Step(s) for which they are otherwise eligible.
Exception #4: For the purposes of ECFMG Certification, ECFMG requires that applicants pass those USMLE Step or Step Components required for ECFMG Certification within a seven-year period. Effective June 14, 2004, applicants must pass Step 1, Step 2 CK, and Step 2 CS within a seven-year period for ECFMG Certification; this new seven-year requirement applies to applicants whose earliest USMLE passing performance that is valid for ECFMG Certification took place on or after June 14, 2004.
If you still wish to apply for this exam based on one of the reexamination exceptions outlined above, you cannot reapply on-line. For Exceptions #1, #2 and #3, documentation supporting this exception must accompany your paper exam application. Click here for complete instructions and a list of appropriate documentation. You can download and print the USMLE application materials from the ECFMG website. Alternatively, you can contact ECFMG for these materials (allow four to six weeks for delivery).
