which beta blockers can be prescribed to asthamatics

Beta 1 selects, but they still have some B2 effects at high doses!

yea totally agree. none of the beta blockers is absolutely beta 1 selective, always have some degree of beta 2 blocking activity but the ones labelld beta 1 blockers are relatively safer in asthmatics, PVD etc etc.these are BEAM
betaxolol
esmolol
acebutolol
atenolol
metoprolol
