like I said, I just got my step 2 CK score last night---241---at first I was really psyched because I left the exam feeling like I blew it.
Then, after reading the score report I saw that the AVERAGE score on my test was
a 240(?!) with a 18 point SD.
I don't get it...I thought a 241 was a pretty good score, and not 'average'.
Long story, but I took this exam decades ago and took it again recently for licensure reasons, and back then a 241 would have been a phenomenal score, not an average one.
I'd appreciate any perspectives on this, thanks.
It's still good I guess!
