Hi,
Can anyone give me an information about CS registration, If I want to take it in late jan 2005, when should I have to register for it?
I am taking step 2 in dec, and want to take CS in jan. Please <:help:>

u should register for Cs as early as possible as u see the first available date at all centers is showing jan and feb 05 already.
so by the time u register ,the dates will b pushed to feb mar 05 .
so do it now.

Thanks a lot az sheth. I am now considering to register for CS. But I dont know it would be good for me or not, I have just started my step 2 prep and would I be able to pass it...many queries!

the eligibility period for step 2 cs is one year so even if u could not take it in jan u will still be eligible to take it in one year. i tihnk u shoukd schedule for it asap.

Hi msashraf,
Many thanks for informing me and for your kind suggestion.
Can you tell me that one year is an eligibility period, if I schedule a date, how long I can extend it. Say I choose jan, and for some reasons I cant take it in jan, can I extend it after scheduling, and when should I schedule a date, one month before the desired date is enough time???

they will charge u some fee for rescheduling the exact details are on the ecfmg website.

Thanks msashraf. I checked it on ecfmg site, its is $50 for extension of the scheduled date.
