here is a kaplan question
a student takes 2 tests
test a score mean sd
45 30 5
test b 60 40 10
on which test did the student do better?
pls explain me how to do this
for first test, the student get 45 when mean is 30 & SD is 5 . which mean he get +3 SD (45-30 = 15 and one SD is 5 )
for the second test, he got +2SD (60-40 =20 & one SD for 2nd test is 10 )
So he do better in first exam .
Thanks for sharing these questions here. It will help students like me to prepare for their kaplan exam.
