here is a kaplan question a student takes 2 tests test a score mean sd 45 30 5 test b 60 40 10 on which test did the student do better? pls explain me how to do this thanks

for first test, the student get 45 when mean is 30 & SD is 5 . which mean he get +3 SD (4530 = 15 and one SD is 5 ) for the second test, he got +2SD (6040 =20 & one SD for 2nd test is 10 ) So he do better in first exam .
