B/c of the risk of strangulation, you will operate on all of the foll. hernias except

A. 2cm defect incisional hernia in a male
B. Inguinal hernia in a y yr old male
C. Umbilical hernia in a 4 yesr old female
D. femoral hernia in a 36 yr old female

Okay, I've given you enough time. Where is everyone and why is this forum so dead!

Anyhow, easy question, and the answer is A. Large defects are less likly to cause strangulation. Inguinal and femoral hernias are common causes. Umbilical hernia's should be wathced till 2 yrs of age and then close, and yes, they can strangulate.
