a man 56 yrs old had a swollen knee. the aspiration shows a cloudy fluid, neutrophils +++, and no bacteria on micr and culture. what is the most likely diagnosis
a. septic arthritis
b. reiter's arth
c.gout
d. RA
e. OA

cloudy, sterile with a high neutrophil count!

How's the appearance of reiter's? Its usually sterile wiht a high N count

.... acute presentation is Occasionally seen in RA.
Reiter's arthritis would have associated findings of Reiter's syndrome.

RA acute presentation is in the from of septic arthrits (from kap notes) isnt it correct?
