Crush Step 2 and Step 2 Secrets have the same author, Adam Brochert. Not surprisingly, therefore, they have the same information, the same images and the same tables. The former name for Crush Step 2 was Crush the Boards, but I wonder if that is the only change this new edition has. I suppose it is a matter of preference if you can learn from the Q&A format of Secrets versus the text format of Crush. I used the Secrets book throughout my fourth year because I was asked similar questions during my rotations. I noticed however that more people here are referencing the Crush book. Can anyone elaborate on which book is better or whether or not having both is necessary or a waste of money (which I think I might have just done  )? Perhaps, this is a good strategy (or am I just trying to convince myself that having both books is a good thing?): 1st: Thoroughly read the Crush Step 2 book. 2nd: Cover the answers in Step 2 Secrets with an index card and try to answer its questions first as a test of what was read in Crush?

i also liked the Secrets for my rotations. I did look at the Step2 secrets, and i felt like it wasn't enough for me. I definitely would recommed Crush Step 2 though as my "First Aid" instead of the real book. but i do like the strategy you have for using both Secrets and Crush. I am not sure if i would be willing to buy both books though, although, i admit, i am intrigued by your plan.
