23 male with dizziness. k 2.4 hco3 33 urine k 7meq/l what diagnosis?

if pt hco3 19 what diagnosis?

if above pt k2.4 urine k 50 what diagnosis?

1. Urine K < 15, Hypokalemia, and HCO3 33 may be the Metabolic alkalosis due to
K+ loss via sweat, Remote vomiting or remote diuretic abuse.

2. HCO3 19 means metabolic acidosis so it can be Lower GI loss(Diarrhea)

3. K 2.4 Urine K 50 means, the loss of K is due to renal loss.
It can be categorized into two parts.
Hypertension (+) ; Mineralocorticoid excess, Liddle syndrome

Hypertension(-) ; Vomiting, Bartter syndrome, Gitelman syndrome, Diuretic abuse, Hypomagnesemia
