I am confused. Now Kaplan refers to the unhappy triad as injury in the ACL, Medial meniscus and medial collateral ligament . While First aid refers it as injury in ACL, lateral meniscus and medial collateral ligament.
I know that the more recent studies showed that lateral collateral ligament is the right answer but I don't understand why as medial makes more sense as medial meniscus is fused with medial collateral ligament and lateral meniscus is more mobile.
