Hey there,
I'm an IMG from Australia with excellent exam scores, journal publications and strong references. HOWEVER, I'm worried that I may get tripped up because I dont know to write the so-called "personal statement" that american programs ask for, my aussie professors dont know how to write the LORs and so forth.
I'm very keen to look over some american residents LORS, deans letters, personal statements etc. Of course please remove any identifying information, but then send them to me so that I can get a feel of how to write these documents.? It sounds like something so silly but when you're applying from a different medical system the simple obvious things are where one can f-ck up.
PLEASE send me your LORS, personal statements etc (with personal details removed of course!) so that I can learn what american programs are after.
