Kaplan Qbank USMLE

You take a sample of 300 insomniac students and measure the number of useless facts they've memorized for the USMLE step I. The mean is 40,000 and the standard deviation for this group is 2,000. How would you calculate the standard error of the mean? Would you then proceed with a z-test, a t-test, or an f-test?

I never got anything that detailed on my exam. Don't worry about those t z and chi test or whatever. Just focus on the personalities and "what youd say next" and sens, and spec.

Thx. Yeah, I think I'm done with behavioral. It's stupefying.

Hey, is the anatomy on the test really as simple as the stuff in Q-bank, NMBE, or Kaplan sim? It seems like you don't need to know a single attachment of a muscle, or anything really beyond muscle groups, cranials, and big vessel arrangement....

Thx.

yup, anatomy is basically the high yield that you do in qbank, i only had like two questions on it. Not bad at all!!!!

best of luck. i am so sick of studying for this that i can't believe it'll be over soon!

Yeah, toward the end I was just Sick of it, I didnt review lots of stuff that I should have and was just plain tired of it. Also I had ppl. telling me that the last week of studying makes no difference anyway because they test your concept which if you don't have at least 2 wks ahead you'll never have.
Anatomy, I hardly even did it. I had about 4 q's from embryo, 6 or 7 gross anat, all very basic things, and TONS of Neuro anat. At least 8 q's of the sp.cord section alone, where you localize the lesion.Don't skip neuroant. , others claim don't skip embryo, but ALL say Skip gross anat.

by the way bluedusk, I've arrived on this forum AFTER my exam and about 6 mos before. How can you study and find time to browse this board??there is nothing here as far as information that is not in your books, and it's not worth getting info here because how do you know ppl are not just guessing, just take a few hrs scan any useful tips on books or other stuff or posted questions from the exam, exam topics from those who took it, and go hit the books

ha ha. you know, i'm in dead cram mode right now, and every 1/2 hour or so, i need some different mode of stimulation. i've been out of school for a while, so this is my substitute of having someone to ping stuff off of. but, i appreciate the thought....
