Hi,
I have recently obtained my L2.
How do I now apply for my EAD?
Do I need sponsorship from a company to get EAD?
If not, when I have the EAD, am I free to apply for any job I wish to?

I dont know for sure, but i think L2 is eligible for EAD. Check Visapro.com
