get latest kaplan books from some cheap source on line. ppl sell them on ebay n on ezboard.com's usmle forum. n u can get the cds live lectures to go along with the kaplan notes. those u can buy for $30-40 if u put step 2 cds on yahoo search, it comes up. that should b a good start. dont bother with blue prints of medicine or surgery, they r not helpful for step 2 exam, they dont help u answer the next step in management type questions. they just tell u what dx n tx for specific diseases but all those things appear as your choices on your exam n remember u gotta pick one not all so in that term these books r not good at all. stay away from them. n one book that everyone should stay away from is sawanson family med review, its outdated, the author died, its like from 1996. these days most things from 2000 r outdated on the exam so dont get anything thats not from this century. Crush the boards is good quick review for last month quick review before exam. n ofcourse as everyone says mcq r the key,do as many as possible, esp on the computer so u get fast, as time is very important.
i hope this helpssmiling face
