hi friends. i just took the CS exam recently and now i'm wondering as to what are my chances of passing. in 3 of the 12 cases that i had, i didn't ask some key questions and didn't do important physical examinations thereby leading to missing the diagnosis. in the other 9 cases i think i did ok although i did miss a few questions/physical maneuvers. am i the only one who feels this way after taking this exam? pls help. i'm really feeling down and i can't concentrate on my preparation for step 2 ck. thank you in advance.

thanks budski. i'm doing fairly better now. it's been days since my exam and im not thinking about it 24/7 anymore, although i do get flashbacks and dreams about it. and yes i do get anxious sometimes although i haven't been violent. i'm trying hard not to have posttraumatic disorder because of that exam! ooh... just thinking about it makes me shiver already! haha. :icon_shake: so yeah... there's nothing i can do about it anymore.... step 2 ck - here i come!

thanks alice. short of posting the specific cases (as i don't wanna be in trouble), let's just say that the cases were outpatient and benign cases. i used mastering the osce book and the 40 cases available on this website. with 90 cases to practice with, they're more than enough for the exam. i think 2-3 weeks of preparation is enough. do the history, PE and patient notes for every case. practice the cases at least twice and you should be ready! the major things you have to overcome are anxiety and nervousness. once you get past this, everything should come easy. i actually had a good time in most of the cases (except for the ones where i let my nerves get the better of me!!). it's just like seeing 12 patients in your clinic. good luck!

dani9 Hi, CS! I really hope you will be fine on the score? When do you expect the results? Did you go to any of those Kaolan practical courses in Palo alta before the exam?
