Usually first reading takes a long time.You dont feel like done also as you tend to forget things or not clear with all concepts.Only hing we can do is just keep on moving.You are doing well so far...just keep it up.Second reading will be fast and you will have more understanding also. All the best!

thanks a lot wannabe for ur encouragement and support.did you start ur revision?how is it going on?try to continue ur post "last revision". :lol: :lol: here is my new idea for second revision :idea: :idea: ....any suggestions from anyone are more than welcome...really need all your help in making my schedule. thx :arrow: :idea: i'm going to start my second reading after 2-3 days.what i'm planning this time is to do the reading system wise..i.e if i take a system,for instance,resp...i'm planning to complete the patho-physio and pharma continously in that system,so that i can have a better correlation af all the subjects.and then later on continue with other subjects like beh sci or genetics etc. has anyone done like this before :roll: ..is it advisable to do it this way? :? plz help me friends so that i can plan my schedule. any suggestions are welcome.... <:help:> <:flag:>

I did it that way and was helpful for me to integrate all the systems. Only thing its time consuming.....i mean for a while you feel like every subject is remained and you need to rush. But it worked well for me during my second revision. Mainly i understood the things well and i felt better at the end. But unfortunately i didnt continued it for long as i used to feel a lot nervous thinking about Mol biology and genetics questions and trying to read them again and again. Everything will be fine.The thing is you should not stop. Good luck! and good speed! I think i should keep away from writing or reading a lot in forum for a while.My main problem is anxiety. I feel so nervous with the thought of exam. I keep reading how others are doing and then feel like i am not done at all. That thing is killing me.I want to finish this exam as soon as possibble.

hi merijung... doing system based in the first reading is not advisable as it may consume your time away...this is what i learnt from the people in this forum.but i'm trying it for the second reading....which i'm going to start from today.if i feel that i'm getting lost ...then i may switch to the subject based studies. but i feel that system based study will help you integrate all the subjects...i.e.,all the 3p's at once. :roll: coming to the Questions...i'm doing BSS now,which i started around 15 days back...doing aroud 20 Q/day but i should inc to 50/day in my second reading.lets see. :? i plan to start the Q book also now. i may end for the jan-feb-mar slot though i didnot take the date yet :roll: :roll: . all the best merijung for your exams!!!keep in touch with this forum...it will help you a lot!!!! :P hope i helped you!!!!! :lol: :lol:

I did few Micro. Qs today ...not 100 but around 50-60 but haven't started reading book.Maybe I will read in morning now.. good night. see u niti

hi diba your plan seems to be nice.and the time that is taken entirely depends on the person studying...some can read faster and some are slowreaders. i think giving a reading before joining the course is a good idea but what i feel is 5 months is more for a single reading.as you are working partime 3 months is more than sufficient.but if you feel you are confident than 5 months should be fine.and also you are a fresh graduate....this is just my opinion. a complete 3-4 readings is a must before giving the exam but how much time it takes to do that depends on the person who's studying. :lol: :idea: everything else is good in your plan. HAPPY STUDYING!!! :lol: :lol:

i cud complete only a part of physiology in respiratory system.i'm very poor in physiology so its taking a lot of time to cover everything :oops: .but i dodnt want to do it a hurry because at the end i may find it difficult to do the revision. :roll: so no matter how much time it takes i should be confident about my studing :wink: .so for today,i planning for rest of the physiology and goljan audio for 3 hrs and the reading his notes.and also if possible i'll do some 50 Q from BSS. :roll: :roll: :idea: see you all when i complete my physio of resp system. till then bye. :P :P

Hi kiran, You are doing revision with good speed.For Patho. ,you are using only Goljan or kap notes too?Did you give any thought about buying Physio. Qs ( kap's) or not?As u said Physio. is your weak subject ( mine's too)..so, did you try solving Qs with all those graphs ?As I heard Q bank has only 100 Qs of physio.??Any idea? I just logged in to check Forum D Since this morning ,I am really enjoying Sunday..today beautiful sunny day...just finished Lunch..now going to start Fungi 8) later will do some micro. revision and Qs... Bye niti

hi niti i'm using only goljan audio and the notes for patho :shock: .i dinot like the kaplan's patho.so i thought i will stick to goljan only. i dinot think anythink about subscribing for physio Q bank yet :!: .i heard those Q are very tough.......than the real exam.so i may not buy it.and also i dont have any idea about the no:of physio Q in the regular Qbank.i didnot subscribe it yet.regarding the graph Q ,i was just wondering where can i get those Q :roll: :roll: .i'm very poor in interpreting the graphs :oops: .it would be really great if i can get hold of some source to practise such graphs. do let me know if you know any such site :lol: :lol: . hi merijung doing all the 3 p's at atime gives an idea of integrating...like if learn the pathophysio of a disease then those drugs that can prevent that mech can be used as the drugs.hope you undertood :idea: ....as i didnot get ur Q :roll: :roll: . and regarding the date i dinot take it yet.i may take it whenever i feel that i'm ready.but now i'm hoping for jan. :wink: ya coming to my studies today....i completed respiratory system.....pathology,physiology,pharmacology,and histology :lol: 8) . but i'm not confident enough regarding all those lung vol,pressure graphs,compliance,all those equations...REAL HELL!!!! :evil: :icon_scratch: i also did a set of 47 Q.very odd no:rt......... :wink: ok guys i'm very tired now had to sleep :icon_sleep: :icon_sleep: goodnite evrybody!!!! <:flag:> =;
