Hey Sis Nine weeks. You can get through lots. Wow, three readings already as well. Can I ask a quick question? After listening to Goljan, you said you move on to his notes, and then the 100 pages. What do you mean by his notes? Is it the 36 pages? Or your own notes from the audio? Study well! Moc

You are really working hard Kiran. You are so much determined,i wish GOD should give some of it to me . Good to see you almost finished with 3 rd revision. Because of inconsistency in last few days,my confidence agin gone down.It seems whenever i get a long break, away from books,it take even more longer to come back. It again a shock for me when i am opening the books now.It seems this way i will keep revising and revising . For me most important thing is to finish it now. Anyway no more excuses. I am on Goljan now.Just bought Rapid review for step one.Finiding it good. Trying to recover with the help of Goljan audio for now. How are you doing now? Wish you good lck with your plans! Happy studying!

hi krushna good to see you back in the orum with your studies....yes its true if we lose some days we will go out of the track completely.i'm just struggling a lot to be in the track again. today is a better day than yesterday but on the whole did not do well.neither did i do the questions nor i completed the set portion. :-& :? :x i feel so terrible that i just cant concentrate on the studies....i know besides the days that i lost due to some inevitable reasons i'm also losing these days due to tension....should i say lazyness or carelessness otherwise......? :x <red_eye> <:big_eeys:> :-k well now i have decided that untill i complete my set target for tomorrow i'll not write down my dairy.i got used to my dairy that i begin my day by entering something into it.now the zeal to write down my dairy will push me forward.this may sound fooloish or silly to many but i'm going to do this.this is just one more way to get myself on to the groove. :-& :-& :-# :-# <:help:> happy studying everyone!!! see you all soon.

Hi Kiran, I think it would be a better way to write what we accomplished that day than our wish plan... uhm... maybe also to write our plan for the next day:roll:... well I am just to following your idea kiran, so I think it's a great idea what you've got here :P Maybe I will follow you too You know your stuff Kiran, don't panic, you will do great, just relax and stick to your schedule, I am also in a mood again and feel great  Have a great time studying kiran :icon_study: Roxy.

Hi Kiran, It seems like many of my friends in Diaryland are suffering from USMLE-stress! I just told niti not to beat herself up for taking a break from her studies. Remember my bouts of tension and laziness during my journey? It's normal and to be expected. What helped me was to write down what I accomplished that day even though it wasn't much. This way, I could see that I needed to pick up the pace when my accomplishments didn't measure up to my goals for the day. I just wanted to stop by to say hello and to wish you well. Love, pinkangel

Hi Kiran, As Dr. Goljan said, the more you read, the higher you score. I felt very clear about anatomy when I first listened to the kaplan lectures. Then during my read, I felt so frustrated cuz I totally could not understand/retain things I used to be able to. Then things got better when I read the notes again. So keep reading and you will feel better. I still feel anatomy is my weakest subject but my NBME form 2 said I am doing good in this subject now. (I hope it's true though) Things will make more sense when you repeat encountering them. Happy studying.

hi niti thanks for your valuable advice. i solved some of the questions in q book yesterday found some of them were out of our kaplan books.i know anything can be asked but i'm just scared if the usmle people go into much depth.......i'm very poor in the basics particularly anatomy and physio. another worst part is i hate memorisation....by which i tend to forget things easily.but i dont think any other way will help me in anatomy except pure memoriasation for a no:of times. making my own mneumonics is a very good idea.i'll do that.... thank you once again.

Hi Kiran, Wonderful progress! Now you are almost done with pathology. Whew! :P About the Q book scores - I agree with Niti - 60% is really not as bad as you think. I talked to many people studying at the Kaplan center during my time and they were ranging in the 40's-mid 60's. The questions are very hard and detailed - if you can get up to mid to high 70's by the end of your preparation, then you are set. Like niti said, keep reading and doing questions, listen to Goljan to help you slap everything together. I will confess something to you - I listened to Goljan whenever and wherever I could - even when I was in the bathroom! I'm not kidding. You won't believe how much information sticks in your brain from the oddest places and times that you've listened to the magical Dr. Goljan. You WILL get there. <:wahtch_where_you_go:> Love, pinkangel

Hi kiran, Your plan looks perfect..but,since your date is fixed now..u have to follow your schedule tightly. One thing I want to add here ( I am doing this for my final revisions..)....recognize your wk areas..don't focus on subject as a whole..now,focus only on those wk areas..& u will definitely see the improvement in scores ! Keep Up.. niti

Hi Kiran This is your 3rd review and you know your stuff, don't get discourage with tests results; you still have a long way to go before your exam and your schedule looks pretty good, just stick to it and do looooots of questions, read the explanation and save it to your hardrive  Keep going Kiran, you are doing good  Best wishes, Roxy.

hi niti you gave me a real superb idea to focus on my weak areas.i will definetly do it now. rox your idea of sticking the notes into the hard drive is really good.i'm already doling that.but the only thing is i shud revise them all agaiun which i'm not doing. well i completed most of the patho....still left with endocrines and fliud & hemodynamics.will complete it by today evening and and start biochem....i've got only 6 days do complete my third revision....as niti said i've got a very tight schedule and time is running uyp.i need to be more studious. will get back to studies now after my klunch break.. sorry for all the type mistakes....correcting all of them really takes a lot of time for me.i apologise for that/ happy studying evryone!!!!
