yesterday i felt very bad.....took a test in timed mode for 50 Q from usmleasy.com
scored very low....40%.too bad na? :oops: :cry:  :shock:

I wouldn't know about usmleasy, aren't they pre-test questions basically?
Pre-test questions tend to be very hard and nit picky. if so 40% isn't bad at all.

Happy to hear you had a nice break with the guests. Any other plans for the hols?
How are you finding micro, by the way? Good progress? Can I ask a quick question? I'm going to start micro early in the new year, and was wondering what study sources you're using. A few people have said that Kaplan is incomplete for this topic, and have recommeded MMMS. How are you finding things?

well moc
i did some of the bacteria in micro and then jumped to biochem....regarding the books i've answered in ur dairy moc,have a look at it. :lol:
yesterday,i completed biochem revision....i'm left with aminoacid str and enzyme kinetics.... :lol:
today i will finish those and then do a quick revision of whole biochem and then do all the possible questions in biochem... :roll: :roll:
i was very depressed with the score i got the other day....very bad score....it just tells me how well i studied for the past 3-4 months.... :oops:
....i need to improve a lot!!!!and i know nothing can help except for hard work....the score just reflects my neglect towards the study.....it just shows how well i studied... :oops: :cry:
well now i have decided very strongly that i should work hard....study well...and goal for a higher score.... :x
expecting some relatives at my place for christmas :lol: ....after the holiday season is over.....i should work out more....and this I HAVE DECIDED....I WILL NOT LET MY HARD WORK OF 5 YRS OF MEDICINE GO INTO THE DRAIN LIKE THAT .....I WILL NOT LOSE MY CAREER IN THE MIDDLE..... :evil: :evil: :x :x
well my brothers family is coming over here for my birthday tomorrow....so see you all again after christmas!!! :lol: :lol:

i dont have any idea about the pretest series....someone posted the 7 day free trial of the usmleasy questions...i didthem from that source...
they were ok....though many of them were not in the usmle pattern....most of them were single-lined questions!!!! :lol: :lol:
if you want to do them,just register here for free ....you can acsess for 7days...and you can do nearly 650 questions.

its ok, I'm not lacking questions by any stretch of the imagination.
but I remember when they started up the service this past may. They gave everyone free access till the end of may or june. A lot of questions had come straight out of the Pre-test question books they also publish.
I've done Pre-test questions for biochem, neuro, Physio and Behav while in school. I did well in most of those courses, but I never got above 50% right in any chapter of those questions (while I was just learned the stuff).

Just thought stop by you here... :lol: ...read your couple of previous posts......it's all right if you get little low score now.....means gotta do little more! you know that! Seems you studying everyday.....that's the key! Don't lose the pace....allways be in mood of learning!!!!!! ...and you have that and the time to study ...you can kill anything! I recently start hitting upper 80s and 90 on kaplan qs...... which is all after what i paid for it......hard work! Keep going.....keep on going....again KEEP GOING! You'll get there VERY SOON!

My best wishes are with you to get better soon! No one likes getting the flu, especially when studying for a stressful exam. :? I'm sending you an online pot of chicken soup right now so you can drink up and get well. :P Get plenty of rest, and don't stress yourself out too much if you are not feeling up to it. well now i feel a lot better......its been 3 days that i touched my books.and all the time that i scheduled for beh sci was lost...well now i'll start microbiology(bacteria) and do the rest opf beh sci at the end of my schedule.
