hello all. i just got my result of step 1 and now iam about to start with step 2 studies.............BUT....................iam already scard after reading a lot of this stuff on the forums. is it too hard ? is it too time consuming? how should i begin? can any one suggest some thing?

Welcome to the forum!!!!!!  . As ur name says, so shud ur confidence say "iam full of knowledge".........everybody has it.........just explore or introspect urself ..........wat i meant is, apply wat u've read, in the qs that u answer..........that's it!!!!!!
How to start?????............. If u have kaplan notes or if u've taken coaching, start with them first............MATERIAL first!!!!!!! I bet u must be having coz, i see ur from india & i know they r available in plenty everywhere..... :wink: Otherwise just get xeroxed from somebody!!!!!!!
This is just to begin ur step2 prep, but ur basic reference books can be from CMDT to cecil's medicine to harrison's medicine..............
And as for MCQs, Qbook, NMSR, Kaplan Q bank,Kaplan simulated r basically done, and any other books like FPR, MKSAP,Harrison's etc if u can do them and if u have time & energy......
But i guess, material + mcq books like Q book which is simpler to start with is better, but if ur good enuf, u can start even with Harrison's MCQs .................that's ur assessment about urself again!!!!!!
And ofcourse, keep following the forum, read the qs posted, u too post whenever possible...........they help in ur review as well as gaining ur knowledge............
And since ur fresh with ur step1 material, it's easy/good for u .......

so, ALL THE BEST knowledge........Nothing's difficult as it seems to be............the more material u read, the more qs u do, u get better and better............that's the rule!!!!!!!!!! just not u, it's for any of us!!!!!!!!
