In NMS Microbiology it says "heat-labile toxins(LT-I and LT-II) stimulate intestinal guanylate cyclase" while in Levinson and Cracking the boards the same LT "acts by stimulating adenylate cyclase". :|

  #2

LT Toxins activates a G protein, which in turn stimulates the activity of a membrane-bound adenylate cyclase, resulting in the production of cAMP.
Intracellular cAMP results in active secretion of Na and Cl as well as inhibition of Na and Cl reabsorption.Fluid, bicarbonate and potassium are lost.
