I have been studying for a year now - read Kaplan books twice, did Uworld twice and felt I was ready so I took the NBME form 1 to know where I stand. I got a really low shameful score of 280 ( 179 ) which is no where near the passing score
sad I am shocked !!

I usually do good during discussions with friends and felt I was ready. I guess I was very wrong sad First I was in denial but fact is the nbme is the most accurate estimator and this is what it is ! I was planning to give Step 2 in a months which obviously is not possible.

Its ironic that I got a better score when i took Kaplans Diagnostic test before I started studying for Sep 2 sad Sigh sad(

I am freaking out and cant think straight about what to do to ensure a good score.

Please advice me on a study plan. I would be greatly obliged.

Study for CS first and work you way back to Step 2 CK
